Our first Invacare Days camp of 2007 was held on August 2nd in Elyria, Oh with a terrific turnout of 42 participants of all ages.   This event was lead by Team Invacare’s Scott Law and Shawn Kravchuc of the Cleveland Cavaliers Wheelchair Basketball Team.  The camp participants learned the fundamentals of wheelchair softball, basketball and quad rugby.  Slyder, the mascot of the Cleveland Indians made a special appearance.

The second camp was September 8th in Port Orange, Florida with a super group of 36 “let’s get out and have some fun” kids. Scott Law and Nancy Olson demonstrated how to play wheelchair tennis, basketball and handcycling.  Nancy did a wonderful job with the tennis clinic; many youths from the area were there, just great kids!
 

Two more camps were held on Sept 29th in Columbia, Mo at the University of Missouri - Columbia Rec Center and on Oct 20th at the   Clackamas Community College in Oregon City, OR. Both camps had a wonderful group of participants, volunteers and support personnel.  A huge thanks to Scott Law and to Easter Seals for all of their hard work!
